Kapri's passion for the performing arts was evident at an early age. Performing with the award-winning dance company since she was eight years old, Movements has been a key component in strengthening her ties and zeal for her African and Caribbean roots.

During her time at the renowned Victoria School for the Performing Arts in Alberta she harnessed her love for the stage and improv. While in her senior years at the prestigious Brentwood College in British Columbia, she continued to represent her cultural heritage from province to province landing opportunities to choreograph in different arts programs.

Based on her outstanding work in B.C she received awards of achievement in Musical Theatre, the coveted title of Dance Captain at Brentwood College, and was the recipient of the Joyce MacLean Cup & Young Choreographers Award for Greater British Columbia.
